About Frankie
I'm a 4th year Veterinary Student at Bristol University taking the year out to study a Masters in Global Wildlife Health and Conservation.
I went to Haberdashers' in Elstree until sixth form when I left to attend Brighton
College, a boarding school in well... Brighton!
Having attended two highly pressurised and academic schools, I can empathise with the expectations set on students. I was a Prefect and Head of House at Brighton College so have experience in public speaking and looking after the younger years in house.
Gaining 9 A*s at GCSE, an A* in Biology A level and a high A in Chemistry A level I am very well equipped in how to pass exams and exam techniques.
I tutored fellow Brighton College students in GCSE Chemistry and A level Biology whilst in U6th. In my first year of university I tutored Biology and Chemistry at GCSE level and A level.
I love teaching and having had my fair share of good and bad teachers and tutors myself I understand how important your teachers are in inspiring you to learn their subject. This would be my aim! As well as giving the tools and knowledge needed to achieve the best results in exams.
Asides from academia, I love animals (surprise!), the natural world, travelling and sport. I played lots of lacrosse and netball and I love to run, having done 4 half marathons.
I believe my lessons will be fun, interactive and productive. I will prepare for each session setting aims to be met in each. I hope to interest my students in the subjects which I'm passionate about myself whilst creating a fun leaning atmosphere!
