About Chris
I can teach chord forms and progressions, music theory and song writing and arrangement skills, solfeggio and vocal coaching from decades of live performances studio sessions and co writing songs. I have also designed and built many large commercial recording studios in Hollywood as well as many for professional known artists. The focus on the lessons is intended for beginner intermediate players who want to play and sing fluently in a wide variety of musical styles from folk to funk, rock to Bach, country and western and others. I intend to use traditional methods of classical education and modern techniques to produce a well rounded student braodening thier musical taste to enrich thier understanding of different styles using a historical approach of musical origins to the present styles....or just teach how to quickly learn lots of songs so you can get right to it. Either way both methodologies will be employed to a degree depending on the desired expectations of the student. Some want to be serious pros and some want to be the girl playing songs at a beach party or the guy in the turtle neck sweater playing at the ski chalet. The choice is yours. I performed in front of 2 people and in front of 1000s in many countries and have the tips and skills you'll need whatever level you may want to pursue. No name dropping!
