About Rachel
I am a certified secondary math teacher with 13 years of classrom experience. In the classroom I taught Geometry, Algebra 1&2 and Precalculus. I have tutored Algebra 1-Calculus.
In sessions I am personable, professional, and knowledgeable. I adapt each session to the students needs.
I enjoy watching a student grow. Sometimes they grow in knowledge, sometimes confidence, but there is always growth.
It was always my intention to teach. In cleaning out my childhood bedroom, I found multiple future career projects about becoming a teacher.
I have a Master Degree in Secondary Education and a VA teaching licence.
