Hi there! I'm Jerry--an undergrad student at the University of Toronto (UofT), studying Human Biology. I'm an experienced tutor with >5 years of experience. (1) Chemistry: lessons focus on preparing for upcoming assessments, like tests, exams, and labs. We will work through understanding any confusing concepts and also tackle practice problems that help apply the concepts learned. I also propose challenging problems that often appear on tests.
(2) Math: lessons focus on either preparing for upcoming tests and exams or getting ahead in the class. We will focus on understanding any specific concepts, applying the knowledge to practice problems, and summarizing the different cases and questions that could be on assessments.
(3) Biology: lessons focus on understanding the big idea concepts, allowing application to various problems on assessments like tests, exams and labs. Also, a focus on more straightforward ways for memorization is looked at.
(4) English: lessons focus on working on specific assignments from the class. We will brainstorm ideas, create arguments, and draft ideas. We will then further the arguments by editing the work and ensuring the best quality writing.
