I have completed four years of an undergraduate program to prepare me for this role. During this time I completed student teaching where I was responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans for twenty-three second graders. I will begin teaching third grade in the fall.

I believe that children should be in charge of their own learning. We will go at their individual pace no matter how long it takes. Education is patience.
I believe in the importance of visuals, hands-on learning, and incorporating games into lessons.
I believe in always taking learning a step further. Pushing kids out of their comfort zone will lead to a deeper understanding.
