About Muhammed
I am a 1st Class graduate from a Russel Group University, and have been a tutor for over 6 years.
I am very enthusiastic about maths and physics, and I really enjoyed studying them in secondary and sixth from. This also carried outside of my school time, with me beginning to tutor after completing GCSE's and enjoying teaching these subjects as well as learning them.
Having started to tutor at the age of 16, I have been able to and have experienced tutoring students from a range of background, with different learning abilities and levels. This has also allowed me to understand and know how to adapt my approach to each individual student based on their needs to give them the best experience learning, and to also give them the most effective lessons.

My preferred teaching method, which I think is the most effective in getting a student to really learn, is through explanation and demonstration. Explanation allows the student to understand concepts, but doesn't always teach the student how to apply the knowledge. This is where demonstration comes in, where I as a tutor can show how to apply concepts and knowledge to different scenarios/situations so that the student can fully learn and understand.
As a tutor, I usually do either session which are an hour long, or sessions which are 2 hours long with a break in the middle if the student needs. Anything shorter than an hour make the session feel rushed, and anything over 2 hours causes burnout, on both my part and the student, making the sessions less effective.
I am a 1st Class Engineering graduate from a Russel Group University with a heavy mathematics and physics background. I have also been a tutor for over 6 years with over 1000 hours taught. I tutor mainly at GCSE and A Level, so my lessons are more tailored to students between the ages of 14-18, but also do tutor KS3 students.
