About Riya
I am Riya. I am a Zoology student in my 4th year of Bachelor's and I am also a Zoology enthusiast. I like teaching as I enjoy explaining complex concepts in simple and understandable way making people more confident in the topic and themselves.

My approach to teaching is based on clarity, understanding, active learning, revision and practice.
I use a combination of explanation, examples, questioning, discussion and practical application.
I also encourage students to ask questions and share their own reasonings. I try to guide them towards understanding the topic themselves.
My class begins with a brief review of what the student already knows. I shape my teachings based on the student's performance and a brief discussion of their own evaluation of themselves.
My main strength is my ability to simplify complicated topics without excluding important details.
I am patient and approachable and making mistakes is an essential part of learning.
My classes are primarily intended for school and college-level students, although I can also adapt my teaching style for anyone who wants to learn zoology from the fundamentals.
Whether a student needs help understanding basic concepts, preparing for examinations, solving problems, or developing a deeper understanding of a subject, I aim to create a learning environment that is supportive, structured and focused on genuine understanding.
