My approach to teaching biology is rooted in one simple belief, "Every student deserves to feel excited about science." I bring that energy into every online session, creating a virtual classroom that is warm, engaging, and completely judgement-free.
My lessons are interactive and student-centred. I use visual aids, real-life examples, diagrams, and guided questioning to break down complex biological concepts into clear, understandable pieces. I encourage students to think, ask questions, and connect what they're learning to the world around them, because biology is everywhere.
I pay close attention to each student individually, assessing where they currently stand and building from there. Whether a student is struggling with cell biology, genetics, or human anatomy, every session is tailored to their specific needs and learning pace. I celebrate progress at every stage — not just exam results.
Lesson Structure
Each session runs for 60 minutes:
~50 minutes — Concept explanation using visuals, diagrams, and real-life examples, worked examples, and practice questions.
10 minutes — Revision recap and open Q&A
Qualifications & Experience
I hold a degree in zoology, giving me a deep understanding of the biological sciences, alongside hands-on experience tutoring secondary school students through their exams.
