About Maribel
With over 5 years of experience teaching drums, I work mainly with college students who want to develop strong rhythm control and confident performance skills. My goal is to make drum learning simple and effective.
My teaching method combines creativity, discipline, and mentorship. I explain concepts clearly and adapt lessons to student needs. I encourage students to explore rhythms and styles while staying focused.
I use innovative learning methods such as groove mapping, beat construction exercises, and tempo variation practice. I also include improvisation sessions to build musical expression. Accountability is an important part of my lessons. I provide structured practice routines and monitor progress closely.
This helps students stay consistent and motivated. Besides drums, I teach related topics like rhythm theory, basic notation, and performance confidence. My lessons create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
