About Warren
Hello! My name is Warren, please call me Warren or Teacher if that is easier for you. It is a great pleasure to meet you.
I come from a city called Johannesburg, in South Africa, the city of gold! I have a baby—a small dog called Lucy—some of you have seen her picture on your whiteboard—she is small, short, long, with grey fur and dappled black and white spots—she is a mini sausage dog!
I have studied many diplomas in Business, Banking, Credit Management, received many merit distinctions for some subjects, 1st place in South Africa for 1 subject and 3rd place in South Africa both the highest marks for final exam out of every single student that year in South Africa, for both customer service and presentation skills - I was very pleased to receive 2 awards and two envelopes with a lot of money in each - like your red envelopes you gift your loved ones with at Spring Festival and Chinese New Year!
I have also completed my English TEFL 120 hour certificate—with 98”% high distinction!
There are 11 different official languages in our different cultures, one of the highest number of languages in any country in the world. I have been teaching English online now since 2015, to adults and children, some juniors as young as three years old and some seniors as old as 75 years old! I teach 9 lessons 5 nights a week, your morning time in China —so lets do some math—I have taught now close on 8600 English lessons, and still sit on a rating of 9.72/10—thank you for your kind ratings after my lessons! Most of you have also completed many lessons, some reaching over 1000 lessons—very dedicated and hard working students I am lucky to have in my classroom, Chinese, Japanese and Korean cultures take English very seriously, I am honoured to be teaching you English today! One rule! There are no rules in my class, speak freely, ask questions and don’t be shy—it’s your lesson to learn—have fun, at the end I want to know 1 thing you learned today!

I begin each lesson with easy, simple and basic conversation which has two advantages, one to allow the students the opportunity to hold a conversation, which relaxes them and sets a positive tone for the lesson, secondly, it allows me the opportunity to gauge their English ability and skill and areas where they need extra tutoring. I believe in positive reinforcement and praise throughout the lesson.

Details
Cancellation later than 24 hours before the lesson is non refundable and the student will have to pay for this lesson as another booking could have been made at that time slot. If cancelled before 24 hours there will be no cost implication for the student.
All travel costs will be charged at a flat rate of R50 for up to 50 kms radius from my classroom, R75.00 for any further distance over 50 kms.
All lesson fees are to be paid upfront, including travel costs, prior to the lesson either in cash or by bank transfer, e-wallet or via paypal.
