About Ryan
I've been working as a tutor for seven years, teaching from beginners, through to supporting Master's students privately. I've experienced every corner of the music industry, playing guitar and band-leading in a high-end function band for four years, along with extensive gigging experience in a Jazz/Soul Quartet, including various festival slots.
I am now a Composer, offering Theory Tuition to all levels of musician, whilst I work towards my Masters in Film Composition and Orchestration.
I am in love with education, and after a break due to health, I am excited to reconnect with passionate students once more.

One-size-fits-all truly fits no-one. I believe in completely building the syllabus from the ground-up, for each student.
Completely flexible, and adaptive to what's in the student's best-interest. I prefer to offer intensive lessons, with high volumes of information, along with plenty of work in-between lessons, to ensure you get your money's worth for the hour sessions.
This is entirely fluid, varying per student, and I'd never press anyone to do more than they are comfortable. After years of doing this, you just learn to see potential, even when the students don't know it's there themselves.
