About Tyler

Teaching Spanish as a native from Mexico City requires more than just grammar books. I have spent 9 years helping adults speak correctly instead of just completing textbook exercises. My background includes a Licenciatura from Mexico and an MA from UC Berkeley to ensure academic rigor.

Navigating the differences between Latin American and Castilian variants is part of my daily routine. I prepare students for DELE exams while focusing on pronunciation and conversational fluency. Whether you seek interview preparation or everyday phrases, I am ready to help you reach your communication goals.

About the lesson

Struggling to understand native speakers during conversations is a hurdle many learners face. You deserve a clear path to listening practice and writing skills that actually work in the real world.

I have prepared over 105 students for exams by applying the same system I built over 9 years. Real Spanish sounds different than what you hear in a classroom.
