About Philip
I'm 23 years old and have lived in Spain for the past 15 years. I currently work on a boat travelling the world, enriching myself with as much culture and diversity as possible. Deep down I have a desire to help others to be able to understand the languages that I do. In my free time I listen to German podcasts as I attempt to expand my language frontiers. It was at this point that I heard the secret to learning a language quickly! Learning like a child. Howdo children learn so quickly? Why is it so hard to replicate it as an adult? Simply put, children in a situation of learning a second language are many times forced to do so. With good discipline, you can also quickly begin to understand and most importantly, speak without reservations. Like being a kid all over again!

Having been raised in Spain and attended a Spanish school, my Spanish is almost better than my native English! I'm offering a way to learn Spanish that will be applicable in your day to day life. I believe that a language is learnt when you are able to listen and understand it. The next step is to forget the limitations of incorrect grammar and embrace speaking! You can expect to hear short stories, spoken by me at every level of comprehension. You'll be encouraged to respond with words you'll learn. Brick by brick, together, we will build a conversation.
