About Abdul
I can help you actually understand math and engineering, not just memorize it.
I’m Abdullah, a Civil Engineering student at York University with 4+ years of tutoring experience, helping students at all levels improve their understanding, grades, and confidence.
Over the years, I’ve helped high school students get into top universities like Waterloo and UofT, and supported university students in significantly improving their grades in challenging courses.
I know what it feels like to be completely lost in lectures I’ve been there. That’s why I teach in a way that starts from zero and builds you up step by step, so nothing feels confusing or rushed.

I offer 1-on-1 online tutoring for high school and university students. The main focus is helping you actually understand what’s going on, not just copying steps or memorizing formulas.
What I can help with:
High School (Grades 9–12)
Advanced Functions, Calculus & Vectors, functions, trig, algebra, and general test prep.
University
Calculus (Calc 1, 2 and 3), first-year physics (especially mechanics), mechanics of materials, fluid mechanics, environmental engineering, and intro stats.
Who I usually work with:
Students trying to get into programs like Waterloo or UofT
I help you push your grades up while making sure you actually understand the material.
Students who feel completely lost
If class isn’t making sense at all, that’s fine we just rebuild the basics, and move forward properly.
University students trying to pass or boost their grade
We focus on the types of questions that actually show up on exams and how to approach them step by step.

I keep things simple and straight to the point.
