About Joyce

Hello, everyone. My name is Joyce. I’m a Chinese teacher based in China. I can speak fluent English and a little bit Korean and Japanese. I have certificate for teachers of Chinese to speakers of other language. And I also finished my master’s degree of TESOL in UK. I have five years of teaching experience. I once organized many cultural activities in China. I’ve been teaching students ranging from all different levels from beginner to advanced and aged from 6 to 70.
I have many hobbies like reading, dancing, travel and video editing. I believe we could also share a lot of topics. I’m looking forward to sharing language and culture with you!

About the lesson

If you are a beginner, we will start from the Chinese pronunciation system pinyin, which is extremely useful and should be the foundation of your Chinese learning , once you master it, you can pronounce all Chinese characters. We will also learn basic conversational skills. If you are intermediate or advanced level, you will learn to master more advanced expressions and grammar. Besides, you can also choose HSK or business courses etc. If you are going to travel to China, you can choose situational Chinese covering topics like transport, shopping, restaurant, traveling , small talk ect. If you are interested in Chinese culture like poetry etc, we can also learn and explore together.
In my class, I will integrate a variety of leaning materials like Chinese songs, videos ,Chinese youtube vlogs , latest news etc. to help you learn Chinese from a multidimensional perspective.
No matter which level you are at the moment, don’t worry. Feel free to share with me your interests and goals in Chinese. And we can start from there. I’ll do my best to help you achieve your goals. The design of my lessons is based on your specific needs.
