My teaching:

A typical lesson starts with a diagnostic activity that allows the student and me to identify key focuses of the target content/skills of the class. The learning is usually done through activity and visualization. Examples are frequently used and I like to collect examples from the student's own work and their context. I always provide detailed feedback to the student's homework. Writing lessons often start with the student's work which I have reviewed before class to provide a clearer focus for improvement.

Familiarity with the content, format, and marking schemes of TOEFL and IELTS in the last two decades and up to date.
