Born in Lima, I have spent 2 decades immersed in the rhythms of Latin guitar and the nuances of the Spanish language. It is a quiet admission that I often struggle to separate the music from the vocabulary.
Over the last 15 years, I have helped 251 students navigate the complexities of this dialect. My work serves a broad range of people from absolute beginners to advanced learners and frequent travelers. I combine my BA in Latin American Music Studies from UCLA with practical pedagogical methods.
My teaching style remains grounded in the traditions of my home culture. I focus heavily on accent, intonation, and cultural context.
