About Tia
My name is Tia and I am studying maths, biology and chemistry for A-levels. I love learning, as well as teaching and have been wanting to help others learn maths for a while. I have lots of past experience working with younger children- such as volunteering at Saint marks primary school and babysit often. I also have experience in tutoring older children. (Earlier this year I tutored a 15 years old in order to prepare for his Maths GCSE mocks)

My method of tutoring is unique and different for every person. Everyone has a different way of learning and this means, in order for the lesson to be as beneficial as possible- I adapt the lessons to suit each child’s learning requirements and therefore I can figure out the most effective and productive way to help them improve their maths, and also learn to love maths as much as I do. Furthermore, as I am young and still studying- I can understand the way children/people close to my age learn better and positively use that when trying to help them with more difficult topics or encourage them when feeling disheartened.
