About Pearline

Adult learners often reach out once their confidence has stalled instead of just because of a dip in their grades. I strive to make the underlying reasoning behind complex concepts feel entirely obvious once we look back at the work. My approach relies on clear explanations that connect academic ideas to external examples when traditional methods fail to click.

I have spent 10 years refining these techniques while working with 400 unique students to ensure they grasp essential concepts like basic algebra, social studies, and reading comprehension. Graph interpretation and reasoning through language arts become manageable once we build a foundation of genuine understanding.

I specialize in restoring faith in one's own ability to solve problems that previously seemed impossible to conquer. Writing effective essays for the exam requires a methodical mindset that I help my students develop through persistent practice.

These 400 individuals come from diverse backgrounds, yet they all succeed by focusing on steady progress over time. Confidence building remains a core pillar of how I handle every session as we navigate the GED requirements together. My background includes a BS Mathematics degree from Stanford University which informs how I simplify logical structures.

About the lesson

Clarity emerges as the foggy, intimidating blur of math reasoning transforms into a sharp, recognizable image on the page. We focus on untangling the knots of GED material by talking through the logic behind each step in a conversational way.

Sometimes we step outside the box of standard textbooks to use real world analogies that make the abstract ideas suddenly stick. This process feels like turning a light on in a room that was previously kept in the dark.

Developing skills in essay writing or complex algebraic interpretation happens best when we move at a pace that keeps you engaged. I find that once the anxiety of the test fades, the actual work of solving problems becomes a surprisingly satisfying activity. Helping adult learners reclaim their education is the part of my job that I find most enjoyable. The most challenging sections of the exam usually turn into the ones that my students end up liking the most.
