I was born and raised in Hong Kong, I left in the early 1980's after spending my first 25 years there. Although I was never 'fluent' in Cantonese when I lived there I knew 'enough' to get by. I wanted to pay a return visit with other members of my family and I wanted help in both (re)learning what I already knew but to also increase my conversational ability and level in readiness for my return trip. Mandy was fantastic at working with me at a pace was comfortable with. She was also excellent at tailoring my learning in accordance with the activities I had planned for my trip.
