My techniques are a blend of evidence-based practices and tailored interventions that cater to the individual needs of each athlete. I focus on: Functional Training: Emphasising movements that improve overall athletic performance and reduce injury risk. Periodisation: Structuring training programmes into cycles to optimise performance and recovery. Biomechanical Analysis: Assessing and refining movement patterns to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Recovery: Integrating recovery strategies to support training and performance. Psychological Conditioning: Incorporating mental conditioning techniques to build resilience and focus. My teaching methodology is interactive and adaptive, involving: Hands-On Demonstrations: Showing proper techniques and encouraging athletes to practice under supervision. Video Analysis: Using technology to provide visual feedback and refine techniques. Progressive Overload: Gradually increasing training intensity to avoid plateaus and ensure continuous improvement. Customised Plans: Developing individualised programmes based on the athlete’s goals, sport, and current fitness level. Typical Length of a Lesson A typical session lasts between 45 to 60 minutes, structured to maximise efficiency and effectiveness. The session generally includes: Warm-Up (5-10 minutes): Dynamic stretches and mobility exercises to prepare the body. Main Workout (35-45 minutes): Focused on strength, power, speed, agility, and endurance training. Cool-Down (5-10 minutes): Static stretches and recovery exercises to aid in muscle relaxation and reduce soreness. Degree in Strength Conditioning & Rehabilitation: Providing a strong foundation in human physiology and biomechanics. 7+ Years of Experience: Working with athletes at various levels, from youth sports to professional athletes. Continuing Education: Regularly attending workshops and seminars to stay updated with the latest research and techniques in sports science. My lessons cater to a diverse range of athletes, including: Levels: From beginners looking to improve their fitness to elite athletes aiming to enhance their performance. Ages: Youth athletes (starting from age 12), high school and college athletes, as well as adult professionals. Sports Disciplines: A wide array of sports, including but not limited to, football, basketball, track and field, and swimming.
