About Jacob
Students frequently shy away from math and physics because it can be so daunting. Math, especially, has lots of rules that must be followed, and it is easy to forget those rules. When this happens, I guide my student using previously acquired knowledge, and help the student make the leap from previously learned material to new concepts the student is struggling with.

I draw on material students already know, and apply it to current lessons. In this way, students have older material reinforced, and see how math builds on itself. Math is also about seeing connections and noticing patterns in the world around us.
The lesson will start with an introduction to the topic, and then examples of previous material that builds on the subject at hand, followed by some straightforward examples, and then real world applications to help demonstrate how math applies to the world around us.
Lessons are meant for students at the high school and undergraduate level.
