About Shuan
I have been teaching English as a First Language for many years and some of my students have won in international competitions such as Big Cat Collins Writing Competition, Hippo English Olympiad, and Marshall Cavendish Scribo Writing Competition. I would always encourage students to be as creative as possible in terms of writing but to always make sure that their writing is always constructed correctly and in detail.
For me, there is no better avenue for the expression of the mind and soul but only in words, are such things an extravagance.

In my lessons, I would usually introduce a certain topic or concept to be learnt first to ensure that you understand what we will be learning and whether you already know something about the new learning. This helps to bridge the gap between knowledge and your learning.
As we progress in the discussion about the new concept or topic, I would usually provide you with prompts if necessary to ensure that you understand and that you can further expand what you have learnt.
Other than discussions, I would usually provide worksheets or quizzes for you to practice with after the teaching. This would help you to further understand what you have learnt and how to make full use of it.
After looking at your work, if there needs to be further improved, we will continue to work on it. Otherwise, we will just continue with the next learning.
At the end of the day, the lesson that I conduct is straightforward, simple, and interactive so that the lesson is not dull but rather participative and engages you throughout.
The typical length of a lesson is 60 minutes.
I have been teaching English as a First Language for many years now and am very experienced in teaching students whose language could either be their mother tongue, first language, or second language.
My lesson is for Years 3-11 (ages 9-17).
