About Emily
Hi! I am internationally certified to teach English. I am a native English speaker from the US. I taught at a private language academy in Medellín, Colombia, where I also began my online English teaching business. I am a 5 star rated tutor on multiple platforms. I am a skilled conversationalist and communicator. I have a friendly, cheerful, and encouraging personality, and I strive to create engaging, student-centered lessons personalized for each of my students. I am passionate about teaching, as well as traveling and learning about other cultures.

I have experience teaching business professionals customized lessons for their specific line of work. I have also helped students with business documents and presentations. I have experience creating personalized and fun lesson plans for children from 1 year old to late teens. I have assisted many students with homework and studying for tests in school. I also have experience teaching children, teens, and adults with autism and ADHD. I will provide you with customized student-centered lessons specific to your needs and goals.
