I'm Amor, a self-taught, senior secondary student (Year 12) interested in software development and anything to do with technology and design. At the moment, most of my work involves full-stack development. You will often see me working with languages including Python, JavaScript and C++.

As a tutor, I believe that the best way to learn programming concepts is by having an understanding of fundemental concepts and extending this understanding. Therefore, my accelerated lessons are designed to be intuitive, with a focus on logic and problem-solving.
My teaching methodology involves breaking down complex concepts into smaller, fundemental concepts that is easy to grasp. I start each lesson with a brief overview of the topic and what we will achieve by the end of the lesson. Then, I will be teaching these concepts before letting students try relevant bite size lessons.
Typically, a lesson lasts for one hour. This duration allows enough time to introduce a new concept, demonstrate its application, and engage students in hands-on practice. However, the length can be adjusted based on the student’s learning pace and the complexity of the topic.
In terms of qualifications, I am a Year 12 student with three years of experience in Python programming. Despite my young age, I have a solid understanding of Python and have used it in various projects. I have also founded and led a Programming Club at my school, where I gained experience in teaching and mentoring my peers.
My lessons are designed for beginners to intermediate learners, particularly those who are new to Python programming. While I specialize in teaching students of my age group, I am open to teaching anyone who has a desire to learn, regardless of their age.
