About Anthony

About Me Hi, I’m Anthony — I was born and raised in Hong Kong, and am a Cantonese tutor with years of experience teaching both Cantonese and Mandarin. As an artist and cultural worker, I bring culture and creativity into every lesson, making language learning feel fresh and memorable. Teaching Experience I have over five years of experience teaching Cantonese and Mandarin to learners from beginner to advanced levels. My background includes private tutoring, small group classes, and online instruction for students in Canada, Hong Kong, and Europe. I have also worked in tutoring centers and am familiar with HKDSE, HSK etc I regularly design my own materials and adapt authentic media (news clips, films, everyday dialogues) to create engaging, real-world practice. I also have experience preparing students for proficiency assessments and workplace communication. My goal is to build confidence, fluency, and cultural understanding so that students can use Cantonese naturally in their daily or professional lives.
