About Yasmin
Growing up in a Colombian household, I had no choice but to learn Spanish. I learned to speak, write, and read fluently at a very young age thanks to my maternal grandparents. It was actually my first language since I didn’t really start learning English until I started going to school. I recently wrote a bilingual children’s book and I love being able to honor my roots and my ancestors by speaking this beautiful language. I think Spanish is such a rich and necessary language— it would be an honor to help you become fluent and confident enough to learn.
