About Sarah
Hi everyone! I'm Sarah, a third year student at Yale University.
When I'm not nose-deep in textbooks, you'll likely find me enjoying some of my favorite hobbies. I'm an avid flute player and can get totally lost in making music. I also love board games and video games - they're great ways to challenge the mind while bonding with friends.
I also love horses! I joined the Yale Polo team in my second year and it has been incredibly refreshing and rejuvenating to visit the countryside and hang around the horses after my classes.
Of course, academics are also a big priority. I was initially a Physics major and have taken intensive STEM courses like multivariable calculus, differential equations, and university physics 1&2. I've had leadership positions in Yale clubs such as the Quantum Physics and Electrical Engineering clubs where we host hackathons and even built a radio station that will serve as the ground station for Yale's cube satellite.
After falling in love with economics in my first micro class, I switched my major but still draw on my strong quantitative background. I bring a deep passion for learning and thirst for knowledge to everything I do. More than anything though, I cherish the opportunity to share that passion with others through tutoring!

I'll help you create a balanced college list with safety, fit, and reach schools. My essay editing skills are top-notch - I received A+ grades in intensive Yale writing courses and even won an award from MIT for one of my original pieces. I can help with brainstorming, drafting, or editing admissions essays that will make you stand out! Thinking about college admissions is helpful at any grade-level, so if you're in an earlier stage of high school, I could also help construct a cohesive plan for extracurriculars and give advice on building relationships with future recommenders.
