1) Everyone can be creative: Creativity is not just about creating sculptures or writing songs. Creativity is about doing the maximum with available resources! Research has shown that constraints force your brain to be more creative. This is what I learnt in Nigeria - how to make the most of available tools. It is amazing how car mechanics in Nigeria would make small tweaks to car parts from brand A so they can be used on brand B to make it work. For example, finding usable parts from tokunbo scrap to fix machinery at a production plant and building the world’s second largest film industry with mostly DSLRs. I found this really awe-inspiring.
