The thing about Tyler is that she’s a lovely human being, so kind, an ultimate quality to have when it comes to tutoring! I know Tyler from studying fine art at university. We graduated upon going into lockdown, so our graduating class was never able to have a final degree show. Three years later, Tyler single-handedly spearheaded a small collective of graduates who wanted to partake in the exhibition that we never had. She banded us all together, creating something out of nothing, balancing professionalism and fun, and her patience and dedication were unfounded when it came to pushing this exhibition through to realisation. There were some major hurdles, but we did it! Tyler was the primary correspondent who communicated tirelessly with the university to kickstart the idea and see it all through to completion. On top of that, she handled the responsibilities of administration while simultaneously working on her own skilled pieces to include in the exhibition as an artist! You won’t be let down if you decide to choose Tyler as a tutor. I have no doubt that she’ll help any students she has to grow not only as artists but all around in general.

I studied with Tyler as an undergraduate and have participated in group art exhibitions that she has been instrumental in organising.

She is open to exploring any medium with you and helps you truly express yourself and your crazy ideas. I have learnt so much from my lessons with her about art theory, colour psychology and drawing fundamentals. She has a gentle way of nudging and encouraging you to push outside of your comfort zone. It has been a very educational and therapeutic experience.

She also has a great record of building portfolios and has helped several students get into their dram college :)

Tyler and I have worked together at workshops and art classes on multiple occasions. She’s absolutely great with both children, young adults and older students too. Tyler’s creativity and her desire to educate shines through in her personality, she’s also very adventurous and an absolute charm to work with! I recommend her as a great Tutor!

I have know Tyler for many years, watching her grow into the nature young lady that she is now. With a lot of young people maturity comes with age, Tyler has had a maturity beyond her years since early teens. I believe she has most shown this when I have watched her interacting with her peers but especially more with younger people, showing her ability to converse at all levels giving them time & space to express themselves.
If I ever had the need for an art tutor I would not hesitate in choosing Tyler.

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Tyler for over a year now as an artist, facilitator and dear friend. Her art practice is hands-on, working with textiles to weave and crochet. Her approach to teaching is similar! She is gentle, meticulous and incredibly patient. i’ve been in her workshops and have also seen her work with people of all ages and backgrounds and im glad to say that the teaching atmosphere she cultivates is one of comfort and enthusiasm.

Tyler’s a super passionate tutor with great experience, she just finished a Masters degree at the Royal College of Art and has a really interesting and unique creative approach, she is very versatile and practiced in a wide range of mediums. Tyler’s work is very eye catching and captivating. It inspired me to take up crocheting and she has taught me to make my own clothing, aiding my effort towards a more ethical wardrobe :)
