About Tyler
I am a recent college graduate who specialized in English Literature and Language education. I've helped students craft essays for college admission, prep vocabulary for standardized tests, and succeed in ELA and Reading classes. I've worked predominantly (for the past four years) with middle school students, but I have experience as both a one-on-one tutor and a teacher anywhere between K and 12th grade.

I believe content is important, but I believe it's more important to teach students the tools to learn than teaching students to simply master a specific content area. I prioritize guiding students toward finding their own answers to prepare students for more difficult or specialized studies they undertake in the future.
