I have known David for nearly a year now. I have heard him read his work which is remarkable and of great depth. I have seen him over this same year, lead countless diverse multicultural discussions with poets and authors from across the globe. His congenial and welcoming manner puts everyone at ease, and make clear to each participant, their perspective is important. David always encourages nervous young writers to express themselves, and know that their voices are important. David Leo Sirois hosts "Spoken Word World". a weekly online gathering of International Poets (from Europe & Africa to Malaysia) which I attend regularly.
