As an advanced I non-native speaker, I have been each of my students at one time or another during my 8 year journey of Chinese language study. My journey's have brought me to rural villages in Guilin to heading projects at Rutgers University. I seek to inspire students to realize the value of Chinese language and the opportunities proficiency invites.
