About Taylor

I graduated from UIUC with a bachelor's degree in bioengineering, and I am currently a medical student at MCW. I worked in college admissions throughout my undergraduate years and currently serve as a student interviewer at my medical school. I’ve reviewed hundreds of applications and essays — but more importantly, I’ve gone through this demanding, exhausting, competitive process myself.

Beyond admissions, I’ve tutored for over eight years in STEM and medical sciences — from elementary school foundations to medical school basic sciences. My approach in tutoring has always been to find the best strategy that fits my students' goals and study style.

About the lesson

There are two types of applicants every school wants: the exceptional, and the unforgettable. And let's be honest, most of us won’t be #1 in the nation at one thing. But every single one of us has a story, a voice, and a strategy that can make us stand out — if we know how to present it.
There will be no fluff in my lessons. I will not be charging you money just to stare at you write like most essay writing lessons. You will have access to my number and we will continue to work throughout the week. I will only charge for the actual meeting time and it will be packed with real advice and practices, depending on what we are working on.

I will not disclose confidential evaluation criteria from schools, I cannot predict your exact interview questions, and I cannot guarantee admission....Anyone who promises those things isn’t being honest.
