About Ty
Born and raised in rural Pennsylvania my grandfather was a forester and taught me the love of Biology. I moved to California for my undergraduate degree after which I got a job at the California Institute of Technology. There I worked in a neuroscience lab doing psychophysics experiments and then obtaining a position in a jellyfish lab doing molecular biology. I moved back to Pennsylvania where I got my master's studying the dietary requirements of Tree Swallows.
