About Nitharshana
A Note from Your Teacher
Hello, I’m Nitharshana.
I am a Computer Science Engineering student, but before that, I am someone who truly loves the English language — especially its grammar, its stories, and the beauty of poetry.
As a student myself, I understand how learning can sometimes feel stressful or confusing. I also know how powerful it feels when a difficult topic suddenly becomes clear. That moment of understanding is what inspired me to start teaching.
I want to share my knowledge because I believe English is more than a school subject. It is a voice — a way to express ideas, emotions, and confidence. When a student learns to use that voice well, it changes how they see themselves.
I enjoy working with young learners because their curiosity is honest and their potential is limitless. Helping a student read with confidence, write with clarity, or understand a poem deeply is deeply meaningful to me.
In my class, you will never be rushed or judged. You will be guided, encouraged, and respected. We will learn step by step, celebrating progress — not perfection.

In my class, English is not taught as a subject to memorize, but as a skill to enjoy and use with confidence.
Many students know grammar rules, yet hesitate to read aloud, write creatively, or understand poetry deeply. My teaching method focuses on changing that. I help students think in English, not just study it.
Each lesson is carefully structured to include:
Clear grammar foundations explained in a simple, visual way
Guided reading practice to improve pronunciation, vocabulary, and comprehension
Poetry sessions where students learn to feel the meaning, rhythm, and emotion behind the words — not just the lines
What makes my class different is the balance between discipline and comfort. Students are encouraged to ask questions freely, make mistakes, and grow from them. Shy learners become confident speakers. Average readers become expressive ones.
I use:

Real-life examples
Age-appropriate stories and poems
Gentle corrections with positive motivation
Progress is shared regularly with parents, and lessons are adapted to each child’s pace and learning style.
