About Olga Vanessa
I am a Registered Nurse and Licensed Teacher with extensive experience in education, healthcare, and administration. With 15 years of teaching experience, I have had the opportunity to work with diverse learners, including children in regular education and learners with special educational needs.
I have completed the academic requirements for a Master’s Degree in Special Education (SPED), further strengthening my knowledge and skills in understanding and supporting learners with diverse educational needs. I believe that effective teaching begins with recognizing that every learner is unique, and I strive to create lessons that accommodate different learning styles, abilities, and individual needs.
Currently, I serve as a faculty member at Mindanao Kukusai Daigaku, where I teach students under the Bachelor of Science in Human Services program. My teaching areas include Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), Microbiology, Legal Aspects of Care, and other subjects related to health, human services, and professional practice.
In addition to my academic experience, I have also worked as an Administrator in a construction company, giving me valuable experience in leadership, organization, communication, coordination, and professional management.
My combined background as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Teacher, SPED educator, college faculty member, and administrator allows me to bring a unique and well-rounded perspective to teaching and learning.
Above all, I am passionate about helping learners build confidence, discover their strengths, and achieve their full potential through meaningful, inclusive, and engaging education.
