About Komal
I will start with the most important thing there is to know about me- Music is a part of me, it is very close to my heart and I love sharing the art with others. I am a trained professional with Grade 8 certification in Pop & Rock Vocals from Trinity College of London for music. With 4+ years of teaching experience, I have taught children as young as 5 years old and adults up to the age of 55 years, in private and group settings. I love singing and teaching Pop, RnB, Rock and Jazz. Furthermore, I have been a performer, session artist, and playback singer for almost a decade and have worked with various music producers and artists on a plethora of projects. Also, I have directed choirs for musicals in schools and that is one of my favorite kind of projects to be involved in, along with composing new tracks. Fun fact: I also have 5 years of training in Indian Classical Music and incorporate some singing and voice training techniques in teaching western music. I can play a little bit Guitar, Tabla and Piano.

Your lessons with me will depend on the level you're at and what you are trying to achieve. Don't worry if you don't have any goals yet, or are a beginner, we will structure your lessons accordingly.
Most 60 minute lessons are structured in the following way:
- Vocal exercises ( 10 minutes )
- Learning new songs / techniques / composition ( 35 minutes )
- Music theory ( 15 minutes )
I like to make sure that my students are stress-free during the lesson, enjoy learning and observe steady growth.

Perfect! Komal did great on our first lesson, we look forward to more and to see how are daughter progresses. Our daughter is 7 and high energy so she did well to keep her engaged in the singing exercises
