About Sharon

I've been working in the sciences for over 20 years and have taught research design, science writing, and data analysis courses for over 15 years. I've taught undergraduates and graduate students. You will gain confidence because I'm very patient and ready to explain simple and complex concepts to bring your project to its full potential. I work best with students who need support understanding their project and ensuring that their work is complete and correct. I will explain the concept so you retain the knowledge.

About the lesson

I'll help you master... - study design, including clinical trials, ecological studies and biological experiments - statistical interpretation plans - sample size determination for all level study protocols - preparation of analytic datasets - the language of data analysts so you advance in your field - advanced statistical analyses including, but not limited to, ANOVA, t-tests, general and generalized linear regression models, model selection, PCA, Bayesian analysis, parametric and non-parametric statistics and more - statistical reports containing summary tables, graphs and study results. - dissemination of study findings - preparation of conference posters and presentations, - preparation of manuscript drafts and addressing reviewer comments. - statistical interpretation plan and sample size justification for small to medium sized grant proposals.
