About Ashleigh

Hi, I’m Ashleigh, a dedicated and creative tutor with a passion for helping young learners thrive. I specialize in English and Art for Grades 0 and above, creating engaging and supportive lessons tailored to each student’s needs. With over a year of experience teaching at Kumon, I have developed a patient and adaptable teaching style that builds confidence and fosters a love for learning. I believe in making education fun, interactive, and meaningful, encouraging students to express themselves and think creatively. My goal is to inspire and support each student on their learning journey.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is student-centered, ensuring each child learns in a way that suits their individual strengths. I use a mix of structured learning and creative exploration to make lessons engaging and effective. For English, I emphasize interactive storytelling, vocabulary-building, and creative writing exercises to develop language skills naturally. In Art, I encourage self-expression through various techniques, helping students build confidence in their creativity. Having taught at Kumon, I understand the importance of patience and reinforcement, so I break down concepts into manageable steps. My lessons are dynamic, adapting to each student's pace, ensuring they feel supported and motivated.
