About Abbe
Are you an English student? A performer? A public speaker? Do you communicate with international clients on a regular basis? You have come to the right place!
I'm Abbe Lewis, a professional American singer/songwriter and English accent coach! I have been singing and performing for 17 years and helping non-native speakers improve their accents and conversational skills for over 7 years!
I have students from all over the world, including many singers who have appeared on talent shows like The Voice, Rising Star, Xfactor, and the Eurovision song contest. I am the resident English accent coach of Hungary's top vocal studio: Hajnal Magyar Vocal Studio, who work with major pop artists in the Hungarian music scene.
I have also coached entrepreneurs, business owners, and artists from all over the world, giving me experience with many different types of accents (i.e. Italian, French, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Ukrainian, Russian, Polish, Romanian, Israeli, Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, etc.)

Hello future students!
If you choose me as your American Accent coach, classes will consist of focused practice of various sounds that are problematic. This is done through reading out loud and conversation, after which we will analyzing what aspects of pronunciation, word connection, and voice inflection we need to specifically work on together. If you are choosing me for general English tutoring, the classes will also consist of reading comprehension, vocabulary, conversation, idioms, and writing exercises which I will give as homework. As a certified Voice Teacher, I know the mechanics of speech and can explain in detail how to achieve the desired sound in your accent.
