I am a recent Biology graduate from Western University, where I developed a strong foundation in biological sciences. Throughout my studies, I learned how to break down complex topics into clear, approachable explanations. I enjoy sharing the strategies that helped me succeed and aim to make biology easier to understand and more enjoyable for students!

I am a Biology tutor with 3 years of peer mentoring and tutoring experience. My lessons are best suited for middle school and high school students taking biology or general science courses, as well as students who want extra support with understanding material, preparing for exams, or improving study habits. I am well versed in the Ontario school curriculum, and am an IB diploma graduate.
My goal as a tutor is to help students understand concepts rather than memorize them, and to feel more confident in their abilities over time.
I like to begin by identifying what the student already knows and where they feel unsure. I encourage questions throughout the lesson and adjust my pace to match the student’s comfort level.
As a recent university graduate, I bring up to date knowledge of biology concepts and exam expectations, and I understand the challenges students face when learning and being assessed.
