About Mide

I received an 8 in GCSE Maths and a 5 in HL Maths in the IB. But my maths journey wasn't easy. In the times before GCSEs I always struggled and never found maths enjoyable. I remember feeling lost in lessons, staring at problems that made no sense, and wondering if I'd ever actually get it. That changed when I found a way of learning that worked for me breaking problems down step by step, practising consistently, and actually understanding the why behind each method rather than just memorising steps.

That shift completely transformed my results and my confidence. Now I bring that same approach to every student I tutor. I don't just teach content I teach students how to think about problems, how to stay calm under exam pressure, and how to turn confusion into clarity. I've already helped one student achieve a 7 in Maths and 7-7 in Combined Science, and I'm confident I can help others do the same. I'm now heading to the University of Warwick, and I'm patient, approachable, and genuinely invested in seeing my students improve.

About the lesson

My lessons are 1 hour long and entirely tailored to each student. I start by identifying gaps in understanding, then build a structured plan around exam board requirements. Every session includes clear explanations, guided practice, and past-paper questions under timed conditions. I use a step-by-step approach that breaks down complex problems into manageable parts. I recently completed my IB Diploma with Higher Level Maths and am heading to the University of Warwick. I specialise in GCSE Maths (all exam boards) and 11+ entrance exams. My lessons suit students aged 9–16 who need confidence building, targeted revision, or preparation for resits. I keep sessions interactive and encourage questions throughout. My goal is simple: make Maths understandable and help students feel prepared for every exam. And most importantly, Make Maths Enjoyable
