About Samir
I am first and foremost an informal educator and a storyteller, with a passion for India and its people. My life's work is an extension of this passion.
Over the last two decades, I have worked variously as behavioural trainer in the corporate sector, led a community owned eco-tourism enterprise in the Himalayas, served as faculty and as an Academic Board member of a design institute for artisans, and quite recently, co-founded an education start up run by IIT – IIM graduates, which creates immersive learning experiences for the curious.
I now stay with my wife and daughter in Lucknow.

I am not a teacher, but a storyteller, who create's Immersive Learning Experiences around history, geology and culture. I specialise in deep exploratory narratives on Indian History of the 17th - 18th Century, Avadh. I travel throughout India, filming, clicking, collecting old maps and paintings, speaking to historians and researchers. And finally putting together a series of audio-visual narratives for the curious !
The sessions are informal, interactive, factual, well researched and fun !
