About Dr Marlon

As your tutor, please know that I am a culturally diverse educator and accomplished National Board-Certified Teacher of Science who brings 25+ years' of professional expertise to this practice. My extensive advanced scientific training, international teaching, and classroom experiences together shaped my focus on student success. Thus, over the years, I am proud to have assisted several hundred students in meeting their graduation requirements in science and gaining college entry with improved standardized test scores. As a result, several of my students have now entered into professional careers including medicine, law, environmental policy, business, and the military. You too can be successful in your courses. Let Me Help You!

About the lesson

After 20 years teaching science, and 20 practicing science as an agronomist, I am always excited to help you learn, understand, and make sense of science. Whether it is physics, biology, environmental, or agricultural science, I can help you to be successful. My lessons are for mainly high school or first-year college students, but I am also happy to tutor students with learning challenges or maybe simply falling behind in class. I work with individual students or small groups (4-6) with similar challenges.
My lessons are engaging, using real-life examples, students involved using models or demonstrations, and fun earning digital badges!
