About the lesson

An important factor when teaching (younger) students is to make them driven and motivated. Some are motivated by working on a project that they consider"exciting", others are simply motivated by presentation. I think it of high importance to hold assessments (that count) regularly and always give feedback based on individual students work.
Emails, forums or e-learning systems can be used. This could encourage the student to work by himself and try to improve the in-class performance.
