Hey there, I am Henry! A native Mandarin speaker and also a helpful and patient guy who enjoys teaching~ I graduated from the University of Edinburgh with the Distinction of a Master's degree. I worked for a language school for 1 year and have lived in the UK for 3 years. I am happy to help you discover the charms of Chinese and Chinese culture!

The student will have a short conversation and test with me during the 1st lesson so I can set a plan by following your needs. In general, each lesson will be 30 to 60 mins with a flexible schedule. I will use the English alphabet to help you understand or improve the pronunciation of Mandarin. Furthermore, every character and every part of a character in Chinese has its unique meaning. I will match the characters with graphics, stories, and metaphors to make them easy to remember. Also, it will help learners to connect the pronunciation with specific characters. My lessons are open to beginners or intermediate over 18 years old. No matter whether you need Mandarin for interests, studies, business, or travel, don't hesitate to consider me!
