With a background steeped in the performing arts, I bring a wealth of experience and passion to my work as a vocal coach. Having honed my skills at a prestigious performing arts high school and pursued studies in Jazz voice at The New School, I've developed a deep understanding of vocal technique and musical expression. My diverse proficiency in a wide range of genres, from jazz and pop to classical and musical theater, allows me to tailor lessons to suit each student's unique interests and aspirations. With a focus on fostering creativity, confidence, and technical proficiency, I am dedicated to guiding aspiring vocalists on their journey to realizing their full potential.

My teaching method is rooted in a personalized approach that caters to each person's unique needs and learning style. I believe in creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable exploring and expanding their vocal abilities. With a focus on technique, musicality, and expression, I incorporate a variety of vocal exercises, repertoire selection, and performance coaching to help my students grow and excel.
I prioritize helping students build confidence, overcome performance anxiety, and discover their authentic voice. I also offer guidance on audition preparation, and repertoire selection.
A typical lesson with me begins with a warm-up to gently stretch and prepare the vocal cords. We then dive into exercises focused on breath control, vocal resonance, pitch accuracy, and articulation. Next, we work on applying these techniques to selected repertoire, whether it's a song from the student's preferred genre or pieces chosen to challenge and expand their vocal abilities. Throughout the lesson, I provide constructive feedback and guidance, emphasizing healthy vocal production and expressive interpretation. We conclude with a cool-down and reflection, setting goals for the next session and discussing strategies for continued improvement.
