About Tessa
"You probably started singing because you wanted to feel the music rather than just hear it. I began my path by performing across the Australian Latin music scene for 13 years before moving into teaching. Working with 309 students including grade exam candidates, teens, and intermediate adults has taught me that everyone has a unique instrument.
I have 11 years of experience helping people refine their pitch control, vibrato, and belting technique. It takes time. My Bachelor of Arts in Music and Spanish from the University of Melbourne underpins everything I show you regarding vocal health and articulation. You are capable of great progress."

"I confess that I spend most of my day worrying about the tiny details of your diction and microphone technique. We usually start by checking your range before moving into specific exercises for your head or chest voice. Because I have a background in performance and a degree in music, I build a personalized song list based on the range of every student I see.
This ensures that you are working on material that actually suits your voice while we focus on genre styling and exam preparation. Whether we are tackling classical pieces or pop songs, I stay focused on keeping your chords healthy and your technique sound. It is a process that requires patience from both of us as we navigate the nuances of your delivery.
I hope to see you progress through your grades with confidence and a clear understanding of your own capabilities. Stick with it and the results will show."
