About Kenzie
With 7 years of teaching experience, I provide vocal coaching that is both structured and creative. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, specializing in Lieder and Art Song. This background gives me a strong technical foundation. I apply these principles to jazz and blues singing.
My focus is on improvisation. I teach scat singing, melodic phrasing, and harmonic awareness. Lessons include ear training and theory, integrated into practical exercises. Students learn by doing.
I tailor each lesson to the individual. I work with beginners and advanced singers alike. Everyone has different goals and learning styles. I adapt accordingly.
I encourage students to explore their voice and take creative risks. Confidence grows through both technique and expression. My goal is to help singers become versatile, expressive musicians.
